It may not look like it from the photo, but with the arrival of more of the smaller French origin mobile homes, plus the ongoing works with the showground site itself, things are definitely beginning to take shape here in Boliqueime for the new showground. As each home arrives, we will carry out a PDI of any repairs or replacements that are needed and commence to organise and prepare each home ready for sale. The homes have yet to be placed into their sale position and levelled but that will be in hand over the next couple of weeks. Each home will then be unpacked, cleaned and dressed.
These smaller homes that have arrived to the showground site already are all 8m x 4m with two bedrooms, each with one double bedroom and one twin, as well as a bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin, together with a further ½ bathroom of WC and small wash basin. Some models also benefit from a pull-out bed set in the fixed sofa, so a possible sleeping capacity of six.
To be sited on private land, although totally up to the individual, each home will require a standard electric supply, fresh water supply and some form of sewerage waste connection, either into the mains sewerage system if the home is sited close to a house, or a tank which can be sunken or not into the ground. Some owners also prefer a soakaway system. Each mobile home has a single entry electric supply, once connected this will be straight to a fuse box constructed into the homes. The vast majority of homes come fully furnished including mattresses, curtains and blinds.
