Now that we have been up and running for a couple of months, we’re very nearly organised and set-up now, just a few things to change. The initial months have been very promising, and we thank everyone who has wished us well on the journey. Also those that have come in to browse our homes and discuss their needs, and special thanks to those who have bought from us, and shown great trust and confidence in choosing us to supply their mobile home.
We still have many things to do: As you can see, the website still needs a lot of work, but it’s just a time constraint, it’s amazing how the weeks just whizz by. The bureaucracy for setting up a business in Portugal is beyond belief, but apart from hopefully one final hurdle, all that will be in place and behind us now. The showground itself has now pretty much been tamed from the knee high weeds and matt growth that was here when we took the site on, again it’s amazing how quick it all grows once the rains started, but again, hopefully we are the end of the rains now for several months over the high summer.
We now have a good stock of mobile homes, mostly the large Residential style between 10.5m – 12m in length, two or three bedrooms, lounger, dining area and kitchen areas, plus one or two bathrooms. A lot of our homes have been completely refurbished with new floorings, sofas, curtains, upholstery etc as well as internal painting where required.
